This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it is currently raining here and the only place you are able to get a drink from is from the pool bar where everyone is trying to shelter from the rain. They cannot even be bothered to open anywhere inside where people can sit and have a tea or coffee without getting wet.. the Casablanca bar which opens at 20.00 hours every night is in the basement of the hotel and this is the only place that you can get a drink from in the evening it’s horrible in there they advertise that there is entertainment every night but this is just music being played through a cheap speaker that you are then encouraged to get up and dance too. The food is cold everyday with a very limited choice and you have to try and keep your tea cup as there’s not enough to go around so it’s first come first served I could go on forever about the problems with this place so please be warned and think about it before you book to stay here because it really is disgusting.
We went half board and the evening meal from the carvery was excellent, especial the meat. But all the vegetables and potato choice were rather luke warm - same with the break fast food - there was a microwave available to heat you meal again but as I said only one and a long que. We had a good deal on the price and the room was very comfortable, spacious and clean - we even got a fridge that helped keep the wine chilled!! Cleaning staff and restaurant staff really friendly.
Reception staff were rather uninterested, not forward with any information of the Hotels ammeinaties - ie being able to us 2 other hotels in the area, the programme for daily games, they didn´t even point out were the lifts were, we had to ask??!!
The food in this hotel is not fresh and tasts bad.
All inclusive and great stay
the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice. The food was really good a very enjoyable stay.To say that we live in tenerife on the south it was great to explore the other side of the island which is beautiful.
Very good food and quite different each day, good value for the price, nice pool.
Internet connection (WI-fi only at reception area for a quite expensive price), strange smell in the halls, oldish furniture and atmosphere, 80% over 60 years couples
Pleasant mountain views.
No wine list, you had to get your own drinks from machines, water soft drinks, house wine etc,. At breakfast no cutlery on tables, you had to rely on the help of other holiday makers to show you where items were. Food was reasonable but usually quite warm .it definitely does not rate as a four star hotel. Also only one knife and fork on the table for the evening meal, a small glass of water cost €2 and male guests allowed to have the evening meal dressed in shorts. I will not be returning to this hotel again but just across the road and part of the same group is the Bonanza Park hotel which is excellent.
Excellent food. Very nice and professional staff (especially in the restaurant). Room clean, quite large. We stayed at superior room with a great sea view. Nice area with many restaurants and cafes nearby.
Although the hotel is right on the cliff it takes good 20 minutes to the small beach in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz (lovely walk though) or about 40 minutes to Bollullo beach. WiFi only available in hotel lobby. it will cost you 6 euros for 24 hours.
The food was fantastic there was always something available - very good quality foods. The waiting staff were very helpful. The swimming pools were clean + inviting. The entertainment team were fab.
The reception staff seemed streelssed + the language barrier sometimes posed a problem.
The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a free bus service to town. Breakfast and dinner buffet are excellent, plenty of choice!
The main shows only start at 10pm and are in another hotel (just in front)
The bedroom was a fair size and pool area was good.
The food was appalling and the alcohol provided on an all inclusive basis was not drinkable, the wine was watered down. We managed one meal and one breakfast and decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of the 7 days. The noise levels in the hotel were unbearable.
At the arriving we got the room on the first floor with road view - it was terrible, but we asked and next day we got sea view room on the 6th floor - it was great.
Rooms which have road view are very noisy cause of the airconditioners, which are outside - almost not possible to sleep cause at night they do not turn off - only goes to night mode , but anyway very noisy. Location - to get to the beach you need to walk 1.5 km by stairs. Also at night to get to the promenade you need to do same way, so not very convinient, especially when you come back.
